Hey Guys,

I recently installed nitrous on my 2006 300c AWD with the 5.7 hemi. Spraying a 50shot through the shifts the trans has a hard time shifting, once enough to put it in limp mode. Ran a [email protected] though!

How can i firm up the shifts/ raise the line pressure? I have the predator tuner on increased pressure already but it is not enough.

Thanks
Jeff

My 07 Magnum R/T that I did heads, cam and procharger on has the same problem. I ran a [email protected] going into limp mode. I ordered a dings racing valve body and custom tcm. I will be testing them out this weekend.

If you have cooked the frictions and steels, the transmission is on a one-way path that can not be recovered from. The glazing is now the new coefficient of friction within the clutch mechanisms.

So this should really be your first decision; how many and what kind of parts are you going to throw at it...to simply delay (slightly - maybe) ending up requiring a replacement...

agree 100%

also if it has high miles on the stock trans , it's time for either a refresh or a new trans and converter imo

trans is on its way out... in my eyes you have 2 options;
Buy a mopar reman/have yours rebuilt and talk to ding's about a valvebody + tuning.
OR
Buy a performance based transmission from SHR or Paramount and throw it in.

Personally, i'd go with option #1

Hit Andy up at east coast moparts, he's a vendor here for a dodge dealer , he can get you a price on the mopar reman one.
Or builder bill or even southern hotrod

The trans has 175k miles. All gears still shift great at the strip when off the spray. The car is a hooptie so it's not worth putting a built trans in it. If it goes it's getting a junkyard unit.
I ordered a Tranzformer and a window switch for the nitrous. I'll raise the shift firmness to the max and shut off nitrous right before the shift; and see what it'll hold. :pepper:

With the window switch set up to turn off the spray 100 rpm before the shift, it shifts perfect even with a 150 shot at the dragstrip!
We will see how reliable it is! Ran a [email protected]
Exactly what I did on my Challenger when it had the stock trans. 100 rpm before the shift, worked beautifully.
Nice time as well!

I got my dings valvebody and tune in, no more flare at all. Shifts 1000000% better. Zero issues

I did my valvebody, 3200 stall and tcm tune all in shot. Needless to say, my rear tires hate the gogo pedal

I can't figure out the launch with the stall and valvebody to save my life. Before I would give it some gas and hold to 1000 and floor it. Now if I try that, my tires go up in smoke
