Ok dont get me wrong, I love the Magnum. They are absolutely beautiful cars. BUT what the hell were they thinking when they put the 2.7 in them. I ride around SLOW and look good, thats about it. At WOT it does ok but under normal driving conditions it sucks/ Gear changes constantly,stumbling,etc. Yep kick me in the ass for not thinking this one through. The up side to this is the look on peoples faces when they stare or point and you can read their lips "Damn look at that Magnum".

They were likely thinking fleet sales, the vehicle rental industry, and people who were interested in the utility features of a wagon, not to mention initial cost. Then there's always the fact that the gas mileage on the 2.7 brings DCX's "average" MPG ratings for their trucks (yup magnum is an SUV) down.

If you're not happy with the performance of your 2.7L there's always the rad cap mod.
