I wouldn't run slicks unless I had spares to bring with me just in case. That's why my car weighs 6,000 lbs when I go to the track . . .I bring the damned kitchen sink with me just in case.

Was an interesting day. I was running at full weight without taking out ANYTHING. . . .and she is a heifer. Exactly 4,500 at the scales! Holy poop, but makes sense with the roll bar and supercharger. Tranny is still shifting all weird which cost me some MPH but was still running 10.8-10.9 at 126-127. 60' sucked too at high 1.6's but at least I have a starting point to work on with this set up.

Icing on the cake is going out in round one after cutting a .02 light (treed the crap out of the car in the other lane). Half way down the track the car got real loud. I was like WTF and ended up breaking out as I lost focus trying to figure out what was going on.

Get back to the pits and my driver side muffler hits the ground. Clamp was loose and she slipped out. Thank God it happened in the pits. Looks like she slipped out going down the track but the rear rubber hanger held on until it finally ripped in the pits. I can't remember the last time I went to the track and wasn't under the car fixing something. Getting to be a PITA.

Was great seeing everyone again though and thanks for the help in the pits!

They were flying through the classes. I left around two and they were in finals for a number of classes. Things went pretty smooth. No spills as far as I heard.
