I'm starting this thread now. I know it's 6 months away but, now you can make plans for saturday June 6th 2009.

This event is for all Mopars and Mopar powered vehicles only.
Late model and old school car show.
Vendors are welcome too. Vendors spaces will cost $15 (no food vendors)

There will also be a Jackpot round winner takes all. Buy in is $10..

2007 was good.
2008 was awesome.
2009 will be great.

Hey Rich, put Trojan on the list as a maybe. He said this weekend might work for him. He wants to beat his 10.86 ET w/ his supercharged stroker Challenger.

Also add Cheatek from srtconnection.com as a maybe. He has an Inferno red Magnum SRT8 and will be trying to get in the 12s.

Me too. I PM'd UDLUUZ who has the 1000 HP 300 SRT8 and am waiting for a response. I talked to him at Spring Festival about Mopar Day and he told me to keep him in the loop.

Rich,

Put Brian w/ the silver Charger SRT8 from Infineon on the list. He said he'll come. He's getting heads and cam installed this week at Ditos.

Also Cheatek said he'll be there. You can remove the maybe.

Add 8yourM5 with his silver/black supercharged/nitrous 426 SRT8 Chrysler 300. He doesn't have a cage and plans on getting kicked out. He ran an 11.00 ET last time out.

I looked at CherokeeCSRT8 forum today and saw that they started a list as well (only 3 so far). We may be able to hit 32 for our own Modern Hemi drag racing class though.

Looking promising ...

Just got a message for the promotor of Mopar day (Keith Richards)

"Hopefully we can get you guys your own class, I am petitioning for the club to get some plaques for this."

Add DVSSRT (Mao with the stock block SRT8 record) as a maybe. He's got to get some new halfshafts installed before he runs again.
