Great mod. What about a power connection in the door for a cell phone charger? When I put my cell phone in the original location by the shifter I run power to it from the center console 12V plug with an adapter. It seems to me that another power connection in the door would be a nice addition to this mod.

BTW, this saves money on the build of the car and it more convenient to the driver and front passenger. I bet DCX changes over to this in the 2007 or 2008 models.

Any info on that DVD or iPad install?

My one 89 Caprice had manual crank windows. The door panels were different for the power windows and I could not find any at a yard.
I ended up mounting the switches in the dash in one of the center air vents.
That TBI L03 car had excellent heat. Would blow hot very quick compared to my Magnum or LT1 Caprices I had.
It had a split 60/40 so no center console like in our cars.

Oh and ac was working great too.
