So awhile ago I bought a smooth boost boost controller and had it installed. It was good but I wanted it calibrated to get the full effect. I made an appointment at Mmx and when talking with Steven he said he tunes with hp and I’d have to change over. I’ve been on Diablo for years. I brought the car down and he re tuned. He brought lee in to go through how it was installed, cleaned up the install a bit and Steven made the change over. When I picked it up I took for the day to make sure I was happy, I cruised down to petty’s garage and checked out there operation , seen Richard ( wow ). Cruised back. Let me tell you if there was a better term then night and day I’d use it but holy $hit what a difference.
This car runs so good now I can’t get over it.
The next morning I went to the Mshs event in Maryland. I’ve had a pb of 11.297 and although I didn’t get another pb I was able to run an 11.3? So I don’t think I lost anything by making the change over as the air really wasn’t as good as my atco pb. I made it further in bracket then I ever did by using the dial on the boost controller , but made the stupidest mistake in my index class that took me out first round. All in all I extremely happy with my decision to change over to hp. Many thanks to Steven at Mmx
