I definitely want this setup..................and permanently this time! :bahdumcha:

Mine was the first car it was actually installed on but just for test fitment purposes of the brackets they were making.
As far as I know it never got driven and definitely not tuned.
I don't want the only hindrance to be the inability to tune it to my AWD setup. That would suck! Hopefully it can be done without disconnecting a drive shaft or anything which turns it into a RWD car.
We do not have an AWD dyno so we could not dyno tune it. Give us a call and we will see what we can work out.

Yup, its about all thats left to do now. My next Mod has to be this.
Is this a do it yourself price or an installed price?

I was one of the first people to purchase this kit, and I believe the first one to do the install myself.

The kit is well thought out, and is a quality product.Everything you need is in the kit. You can have the kit installed and up and running by yourself in a weekend........

The only install Issues I had was a bad SRT4 MAP sensor, and tuning issues due to my older CAL-ID (The oldest MM had sen at the time...).

The guys at MM were there for support , and sent me out a new MAP sensor PDQ, and Justin worked overtime getting a tune for my car that would work.I was told to call if I ran into any problems.

So now I just need to do some data logging for fine tuning to eliminate the "dead" spot off the line, and at lower RPMs...........One issue might be the older 4 Spd Transmission I have.....I hear that it doesn't transfer power to the rear wheels as well as the 5 Spd.........

For gains, On the Dyno (Dyno-Jet Loading Dyno) I saw 275 RWHP , & 246 FT-LBs Torque with 20" Boss Wheels on a scorching hot day. I have gained apporx. 100 RWHP, and with some fine tuning I hope to get to the 320 RWHP numbers MM got with their test car.......

From 3500 RPM and up the car pull strong and hard........"roll on" acceleration keeps you pinned in your seat!!!! :thumbs_u:

I am very happy with the kit I purchased, and enjoy going in a different performance route then most people.....

Next maybe a built up Inertia V6 Stroker with the MM S/C kit.......

If you have the extra cash and want to be a little different, this kit is a good investment. :thumbs_u:
Thanks for the write up. I wanted to see your setup at the MSH run, but I don't remember whether or not you showed up.

WHat you should do is see if Inertia has the TQ converter for the 4 speed and see about doing the cam swap too now that you have the S/C, you're probably going to need it and that might fix the lag (mostly on the tq converter). Next you should go down to Portland and have PRE do the dyno tune with it. I was the first V6 LX to come through and got me up to 200 hp / 240tq at the wheels with just my exhaust and my CAI. I'm sure he can get you up close to 300.

I agree with Todd about upgrading your TQ converter. It'll help you launch harder. As far as the cams, I PM'd the guys at MM and asked about supercharger specific cams. They said they can get some custom grinds to compliment their system. Whoever you go with, make sure that the cams are designed to work with a boosted engine. Boosted cams are not the same as non-boosted cams.

As far as I know Inertia does have the TQ Converter for the 4 speed...its on my list.

I thought they did too, but I wasn't a 100% sure of myself on that one.

Actually I pm'd Inertia and talked with 392Stu and was told not to bother with doing a T/C upgrade on the 4 speed Trans, that it probably wouldn't last long with my S/C'd application..............better off to wait until it blows then swap in the 5 spd auto stick...........

I might look at this again if Inertia does have a T/C for the 4spd............ also the 08s went back to the 4 spd transmission, so thats what you get these days.......

I really need to get rid of the acceleration lag/dead spot from a dead stop and down low in the RPMs............

I didn't make the MSH run this year.......went to the Graham WA. Mopar show instead.....(Should of did MSH in hindsight......)

I did my Dyno Tune Sessions at Carb-Conn in Kirkland WA.

Future plans include JBA Headers, cams, heads, and possibly a V6 Stroker ..........like to see if I could get 400 to 450 HP out of the V6........

If I come across a 5 spd in decent shape for a good price I will probably do a swap........

Here's one down here in Spokane for $900 with only 13,000 miles on it.

http://www.spaldings.com/parts.htm

Actually, if you go to the site and look in Used Parts Search, do the 2007 Dodge Charger search and look for trannies it'll pop up with it. It's a "Grade A" tranny which means it's in good shape... I believe.

I would need the TCM, shifter assembly, and wiring harness as well................

But Xmas is coming and the Mod budget has been frozen for the time being by "She Who Must Be Obeyed"........

But I'll keep that place in mind......

Thx.:beerchug:

Transmission Change

Wouldn't you also want to change out your rear end gears? The 4 speed LX has taller rear end gears than the 5 speed. Of course, this would give you a better launch, but not much good on the freeway.

Personally I'd rather have the taller gears and better launch capabilities........

You should be able to get most of that for the most part. I'm going to start going to them for my extras that I want/need for the core stuff. I almost thought about buying a 3.5 or even a 4.0 from them to do my own stroker.

I wouldn't mind picking up a 3.5L drive train out of a wreck and build it up into a stroker on my own..........my only catch would be having specific cams ground for my S/C application and heads to match.........

Just out of curiosity, why were they only able to get the 246 tq out of the S/C on your car? You should have gotten more since the S/C is suppose to give you more lower end. (I'm not trying to piss you off or anything). When I had mine dyno tuned with the Diablo, the were able to squeeze 239.9 with just my intake (Big Bully Intake:mrgreen:) and my R/T exhaust. I would have assumed you would be much closer to 300 for the tq.
