Magnum
Sorry, but our normal guy who answers is out today and he must have missed your post. You won't see me much up here since my job is out back doing R&D and tuning, but I came across this one so I felt the need to answer.
I have to "assume" the underhood of the Magnums are similar to the Chargers, since we have not seen one. Here's the way it works: if there are not a lot of differences and the tunes are very similar if not the same as other apps, we usually will say go with it. BUT, you may not expect to get "Magnum specific" instructions for the kit if they are similar to say a Challenger that we spent a LOT of time on detailing the instructions. We just don't have the time to do every single different vehicle type Eg. 300, Charger, Magnum, and all the other Chrysler vehicles that happen to come with a 6.1 Hemi. SO, that being said, you might end up with a kit that bolts on and works great, but the instructions won't show your specific vehicle's front end, fenders, grill, headlights, etc... You would have to settle for Challenger instructions for your Magnum in other words. We are selling Charger kits and the guys understand all we show are the few differences between a Challenger and a Charger and they are good with that. If however our tunes for the Challenger are not easily adaptable to the Magnum, then we would likely not be able to spend the time to "go back" and make it all work. That would mean all Magnums would need custom tunes. This could deter more Magnum kit sales.
We are a fast-forward moving, production oriented business with a plan to cover kits we can sell in fairly large numbers. Some people don't realize this, but it is a huge investment to do a supercharger kit. It takes hundreds of thousands of dollars and 6-9 months, often more to bring a full fledged kit into production. We have a difficult time justifying kits where sales may possibly be low, say for older vehicles in low production numbers, or ones where the manufacturer stopped making that model. If the same kit we already have will fit earlier vehicles, then great, but we are very progressive, always moving forward. We don't have a lot of time to go back and invest in older production vehicles that require changes. I know that may not sit well with you guys who think "everything is the same", or "man, you'd really sell a bunch of these". The reality is there may only be 5 or 10 "bucks up ready" guys truly interested in Magnum kits, not 100 or 1000 or more like many may try to convince us of. The profit on 100 kits won't even cover 1/10 of the cost of doing it in the first place.
It's hard for us to say no, but sometimes the economic consequences have to speak for us. So to answer your question chances are you will not see a Magnum kit if it entails a lot of changes to the existing Challenger kit.
I wish I had better news. Anyone who has the gumption to purchase a Challenger kit and make it work and get it tuned properly is welcome to try. We do sell tuner kits

Ken
