ditto here. Its one of those glitches they warned us about. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon but, on balance, I'd say its a petty smooth upgrade. None of the wonkiness of the last one with the editor freaking out like it was. Gotta love smooth upgrades!

it's the improved version.
it pays no attention to the "remember me" box.
Must be something on your end, it works fine for me. I had to log in the first time back right after the upgrades, its remembered me since.

Clear your cache and cookies. Your browser still has a copy of the old (pre-upgraded) site in it's cache. Hence, it is logging you out of the upgraded site.

Clear your cache by pressing <ctrl> and F5 at the same time, clear your cookies through your browser controls. This will fix it.

Dmag,

Thanks for the response. I have cleared my cache but I would prefer to only remove the specific cookie for this forum. Can you please give me the specific file name?

I'm not sure what the specific filename would be since it is different based on your username , etc... however it should have "@lxforums" somewhere in the filename.

Yeah, its a PITA. Thought we had resolved this problem. Getting logged out from sitting idle for a bit sucks....

I have tried clearing the cache and deleting the cookie. It still times-out and requires name/pw.

Stop using IE.. ;-)

Firefox has no issues.
Yeah Joe,

98% of the users will stop using internet explorer. :) I actually use Maxthon but I believe it sits on the IE platform.

I would say that the forum software must have a configuration option to stop it from timing out.

Oh and I hate firefox. Weird interface if you asked me.

I had to I am not sure what cookie you are going to have to nuke..

If you don't like the firefox interface you won't like IE7. It is very similar..

So I can't resolve this issue. Is anyone else having this problem or am I retarded? I have purged the cache on numerous occasions and cleared the LX cookie. What else?
