I went through this myself on my '05 300C and '07 Daytona. The 300C hasn't seen a dealer in a long time and was no problem at all. The Daytona, though, was serviced at the dealer as recently as 2020, and the PCM had been flashed with updated firmware at some point, so went through three tuners before I found one that would work with it.
And by the way, if you have an old tuner, the manufacturer will tell you to pound sand if it doesn't work with your flashed PCM. So the first thing I would do is figure out the firmware revision on your PCM, and then contact the manufacturer of the programmer in question to be sure it's supported.
