Tom,

I purchased a LSD Lambo door kit from you in Nov 2006 after hearing about you from other LX Members at SEMA (for use on my 2006 - 300C SRT8).

The kit was installed in Feb 07. To bring you up to speed my vehicle has 11,000 miles on it, Is garaged 100% of the time and is only driven occasionally.

In late 07 my passenger door strut started to slowly fail, it would slowly lose strength and start to lower on its own, soon after, I started having problems with the drivers door. They have both now completely stopped any type of holding in the upright position. This is unacceptable for a kit that I paid you close to $1800.00 for.

The reason I bring this up here and now, is:

#1 I have tried to PM you at the LX forums - Deaf Ear's and No response.
#2 I have called your place of business no less that 10 times, since they started to fail and have always be put on hold or promised a return call which never came.
#3 I have contacted LSD direct and have been put through the wringer and on hold for hours only to end up having a supervisor inform me LSD (KW) can do nothing for me as I am not a distributor and not the retailer of the product.
"Mr Hutton, you will have to contact your sale distributor for replacement parts:
#4 I am usually very compassionate to the parts distributors and have been patient in my resolve to this problem, but to be ignored for almost a year with no avenue to even get replacement parts in totally unacceptable.

I will once again "Publicly" ask for your help in making this GOOD. I am not asking for anything free, I will pay for the struts, I just am at wits end trying to get LSD/KW to sell them to me.

Please contact me:

You know Tom had to close the shop for personal reasons for the majority of that time, right?

I do, yet when I have had verbal contact with his staff "after he re-opened" I have been ignored?

Can't see how you were ignored. Today was the first time that I heard from you. Covered your e-mail, PM and now this message today. The purchase you are referring to was made from a company that closed earlier this year. This company and the other one are totally seperate. I did send you info in my e-mail reply. That might help.

Thanks,
Tom

I can't help you with this...
Warranty claims are handled by the manufacturer. The retailer can provide help if needed but they don't warranty the products.
The point in my question... I am wondering if Walt would have received a different level of support had the original company still been in business.
