Hello guys

My brother in Mexico just installed a new KB 2.8 on his Charger SRT8 09, but he is having some serious issues with the programer (Predator) once he tried to load the custom tune the following message pop up:

"THE CUSTOME TUNE CALID IS 68004302ac, BUT THE VEHICULE SAVED CALID IS 68004302AD, CUSTOME TUNE CANNOT BE USED ON THE VEHICULE."

but after that the Loading screen (the one with the green bar) showed up and apparently installed something on the car...

we tried to started the car, and after several times of pushing the starter the engine turned on but something is wrong a lot of black smoke (lot of gas) is comming from the exhaust!!!

So we do not have a clue of what is happenind and what could be wrong?!!

when we bought the kit we gave to my importer and he sent it to KB. the PCM number ( the one on white the label) is "68004302ac" but it seems than the tune inside the PCM ends with "AD" is that normal? how did that happended???

Please if somebody can give us a hand! we will really appreciate it.

It sounds like the PCM was updated to "AD" after the original calid was given to KB. Sounds like a call to KB is needed.

Johan is the man! he sent me a new tune, and now is working.. time for tune and test!
