As many of you have read in my "Decisions" thread; we have to let the Magnum go, so we are looking for a replacement. I got on the dealership used car website, and am looking at an '04 Jeep Cherokee Laredo v6. Is that v6 a 3.5, or do they use the 3.7 from the Dakota?

i dunno but whatever they put it in it, it doesnt even have near the power even the 3.5l magnum does

It is the old 4.0 inline 6, NOT A V6. Great engine, kind of gutless in the GC and a definite gas hog. You will be lucky to get 16-18 mpg highway.

i had a 94 jeep GC 4.0

it did better than my mag ever has...

then again, gas was only 94 cents a gallon when i had it.

Plus, your '94 was lighter than the current model.
