2016 Mopars on the Mountain

I was looking forward to doing another Mt St Helens run as I have done in the past with my Magnum... It was a fairly large group but I cannot seem to find the website or facebook anymore? What happened? Is there another regional group I may join? Our 2015 Charger SRT needs to be with it's own kind! :mrgreen:

I am the guy who organizes the Mopars on the Mountain. It is affiliated with the Oregon Chapter of the Oregon Demons and the Western Washington Modern Mopars.
2017 Mopars on the Mountain is August 5th! Same time, same place. I-5 Castle Rock exit, about 10 am.

I am the guy who organizes the Mopars on the Mountain. It is affiliated with the PDX Mopar Muscle club. They have over 100 dues paying members, but they have more than just LX cars, they allow all models of Mopars. Nice group, little to no drama.

I still lurk LXF from time to time but to think it will revive like it was before... MySpace is still waiting for that. I've still got the same car (in sig) since I joined this forum. I killed the FB political drama by installing a Chrome app called Social Fixer. I set the filter parameters as I see fit. I don't see others shared memories either. Much nicer now.

I quit PDX Mopar Muscle after getting tired of Little Caeser running the club in such a heavy handed way. Don't like what he does? You got kicked out. Belong to another club on FB? You got booted DESPITE the bylaws saying you CAN belong to other clubs. My wife and I QUIT back in June, and in July, 15 or so members turned in their badges at a hotly contested club meeting. One guy burned his in the driveway. Oh, and there are numerous reports of the President threatening former club members with both violence AND sexual harassment. He also hid a GoPro camera under his hood, so he could record conversations during car shows. Why? so he could find out if anyone said bad things about him or his car. How do I know this? I was shown the private messages where he said he was going to drive to the guys workplace and start a fight. He also called a female former member a "cancer on the club". He sexually harassed my wife and I AFTER we quit. Don't believe me? I can send you screen shots of the messages. Did the other Board Members remove him after I reported the messages? No, because we were no longer members, they said he can do whatever he wants in his free time. WOW.
Anyone who REMAINS a PDX Mopar Muscle member is supporting this vile man and his behavior.

I'm not sure how this thread turned into a Mopar Muscle thread, but that crap is why I just drive my Magnum and don't spend much time in the "Groups". Loved the "Good ol' Days" ... way back ... in the beginning of it all ...

PDX MoparLX folded last year, totally unannounced. PDX Mopar Muscle had started up a year earlier because of Little Caesar wanting his own club he could rule over. I am assuming the original posting was in regards to any clubs in the PNW.

I'll be blunt in saying FB has basically destroyed all forums, communities and a lot of people lives. I think the death nail for LXF is when they created the "official" LXF FB page/group and then put the link on the landing page..............after that it was a steep decline in how many people posted on LXF. FB is like Darth Vader and has to be killed. :lightsab:

To get LXF going again all it takes is people to sign off FB with a note saying they are coming back to LXF with a link. Then start posting back here again and don't worry if you are missing a few things going on at FB. It will be slow to start but as others follow it will get better and bigger, just like the original days of this forum.
