Coming home from my son's soccer game, I'm on the 401, just past Whites road. I'm in the far left hand lane, stuck in traffic. I look in the passing lane, and I see a transport truck loaded with LX's. I look really hard, and every vehicle on the truck is a Superbee. I go nuts, but my son does not get it. He's not interested into cars, until I get my 20 inch wheels, JBA exhaust, and lowering springs. He did admit those cars looked kind of cool. I just have to see one of these Superbees up close!

There is an original mint Superbee locally that I see, yellow with the black stripes. Wouldn't that look sweet in the driveway beside a new one?

I'm beginning to wonder if he got a dealer made super bee.
I don't think so.
the rear fender stripe changed to the strobe version in production vs. the solid version for the long lead press release cars.

I don't think the whole hood was ever black. I think there was a change in where the HEMI script appears on production cars vs. the long lead press release cars too.

That's too bad. I honestly think I'd make a trip to the sign shop and have them do the stipe solid. I'm just not diggin the strobe stripe.

That's weird that they changed it - my local dealer has been putting the super bee (solid) stripes on some normal Chargers for the last couple of months. They're also putting Daytona decals on some regular R/Ts, including the blacked-out trunk lid.

I was there yesterday and saw they had two real Daytona's (TorRed and Top Banana) without any decals. They looked sharp.
