There's a small fuel leak on the top of the secondary transfer pump (the one on the passenger side of the car). Not sure if it's the the hat that has cracked on the fuel pump or that black fuel line just above it. Not sure why on earth they decided to transfer any fuel outside of the gas tank in the first place when there are clearly lines that can be run within the tank, but that's for another day.

Anyway, there's a blue lock tab that I can't get to let go within that connector. Any ideas?

Also, if it is the black crossover line, what exactly is that part called so I can order a new one?

Thanks guys!

Do you have a picture of the connection? I just replaced that secondary pump a couple weeks ago. I remember the blue clip but not exactly what I did to get it to let go.

so I found the old connector that went to the top of the driver side main pump and I think it is the same style. See in the bottom pic how the blue part is spring-loaded to sit off-center to engage the ridge on the pump housing nipple. In the top pic you can see the exposed blue part. Push on that, it will squash the spring, centering the blue circle and allow removal. I recall it was a little stubborn. I needed to squeeze the blue piece inward pretty hard, rotate and jiggle the fitting to get it to go. Good luck!

I figured it out. The clip on mine is not exactly the same as the photo. I did need to push it forward a bit to deprees the clip to pull it loose, but there's an additional punch clip on the underside I couldn't see. Once I found that, it was easy.
