I just got a pair of hood struts for the Mango.

They appear to be right/left as they seem to be color coded red/green.

Which is which?

Also, I understand how to mount the bottom by tapping the hole to install the bottom ball mounts, but the tops don't look like they will "snap" on to the existing ball mounts on the hood.

Is there a procedure to install the sruts to the top ball mounts?

as a rule, last number of mopar part number:
odd = left
even = right

dab small amount of grease on ball stud and just press it on.
cylinder end goes to the hood and piston end goes to the fender.

Put them on the bottom first. If you're doing it right, it's not possible to put them on the bottom last. Look in the knowledge base, as there's instructions in there!
