The BA system is not bad at all, but you can do much better with aftermarket stuff. The trouble with upgrading after the fact is that the wiring is not necessarily there. You will need 6 speakers, the amp, and the wiring harnesses which I believe are not for sale anywehere.

Since there isn't a Nav to worry about, there is no reason not to go aftermarket. IMO, your money would be much better spent on aftermarket speakers and possibly and amp to power them. A pair of $100 speakers to replace your front door speakers would be leaps above the stock 4 speaker system.

The stock 4 speaker system is not bad for what it is. Single cone speakers.

As for the wiring, there are no wiring harness for the dash speakers in the base stereo equipped cars. Finding a wrecked LX might be an option, but don't count on it.

There are plenty of aftermarket in-dash DVD systems out there that have NAV as an option.

With a lil dash work, you can make it look stock

I have 2 rear Boston Acoustics take out from my RT. Replaced them with some very expensive ones, can't remember what, but the Bostons sounded just as good. If you want them, pm me. Personally I think the Bostons are very good, a sub would be nice though.
