I am getting ready to install my Kooks headers.
I have heard that the OEM exhaust gaskets are best to use.
How about header bolts?

The Kooks site says most headers come with bolt kit? I will have to open the box..

At the recommendation of another forum member I used OE gaskets with stock 6.1 bolts and Nord-lock washers when I put my headers in. That was 12 years and 155k ago with no leaks.

Oh yea... I rememebr you talking about the Nord Lock washers before. Good idea.
