I've had my Magnum for just a week but you would have to pry the keys away from my cold dead hand! I absolutely love my magnum. I said when I was looking that I wouldn't be modding it anytime soon but now it's all I think about! I've got some HID's on the way lows and fogs and I ordered a predator this morning.

My first tank of gas is gone and after about 50/50 city and hwy driving she returned an amazing 10.01 liters per 100KM or about 23MPG.

What next... intake??? exhaust?? wheels??? Soooo many choices too bad it's only January spring seems so far off.

Oh and I love LXforums.com your all the crazy sort of car people I've missed for the past few years.

Thanks!!!

Simon

Oh My! The mod bug hit me and I have been broke ever since. Good luck on the mods and can not wait to see the progress Cooper. Make sure you post pics as this crowd will turn on you in a sec.

You know, Cady's may have the commercial but I think it was intended for LX's; "Does your car turn you on everytime you turn it on?"

Welcome and again, can not wait to see what you get done....

Love the enthusiasm! No better feeling than when you LOVE the car you drive everyday - makes you smile when you look at it, when you park it you turn around as your walking away from it just to catch another look.

MOD ON!!!!!!!!!

nice start. i figured it wouldn't be long until the mods started. it's not possible to mod cars they way you've done with your others and then not touch the magnum.

Congrats

The Magnum hooked a lot of us. I now have my second one. I agree with the CIA but would suggest the Magnaflow cat back. Cost effective, sounds good without drone and at WOT has a nice sound. Do not forget the interior when you mod. I have an incredible wood grain applique on my dash, console, etc. that richens the interior. The dash, etc. of the stock Magnum is sooooo plain. Since I spend my time in the car, rather than watching myself go by, I wanted to feel good about the interior. I do not recall where I purchased the interior kit (I have 6 cars and mod most of them so it is hard to recall where I got what) but there are lots of sources available. For my 2 cents, I like the way my MSRT wheels look as well.

Have fun.

Hey thanks everyone it's great to be around a group of people who feel the same way about things. Ahh nothing like group therapy LOL. Since I do plan on taking this car to track days this summer I think my priority list is as follows.

Intake & Exhaust to compliment the predator.
Suspension: KW coilovers looks promising.
Swaybars and bushings.
Brakes: Either Brembo SRT8's or TCE Wilwood. I've used a Kit from Todd before and I love the flexibility of the pad combo's... hard choice.
Wheels and sticky tires... Love the 300 SRT8 wheels.

Thats the dream list and depending on how busy my company gets this spring will depend on how much of that list I get checked off. But for right now I'm stoked to be surrounded by such a deep wealth of knowledge and passion for the cars.

Condolences Cooper's Dad,

I recently heard you'd purchased an 05' Magnum. I'm sorry to say that you've purchased a discontinued vehicle. The only outcome to this will be - Complete Satisfaction, smiles a mile wide, and 80's rockstar hip movements. Good luck my friend and enjoy the Wagon!

Let's hope you're good and busy!!!!!!!

I'm reading about too many layoffs these days!!:beerchug:
I started my new company in the mids of the worst downturn for construction so it can only get better. Right now I'm working 6-7 days a week 15-16 hours a day and still can't get to the bottom of the pile of work... but I'm not complaining I'm living a dream!!!
