Transferred a similar year REC NAC radio into my 2007 Dodge Charger. The GPS antenna I used is a 1575.42 Mhz. It's not reporting any issues with it, but it simply says zero satellites found. It's the standard grey plug style and plugged in just fine. Any ideas on this, or am I just dense and there's a reset procedure? The radio believes it's out in California!

Back to square one. Seems the GPS antenna might be the culprit. Diags showed it good, but zero satellites. Then it worked briefly, then it stopped working. NAV tends to reboot itself. It's using the original OEM DVD in clean condition. It had to have worked at one point as it now shows location to be that of my driveway and not California...

I'm all ears for any suggestions.

Strange thing is, our home seems to be located in spotty gps coverage area. As soon as I get out to the main roads of our rural tow, it stops acting up. I've got the ~AF version of the Nav DVD, but I found an AL (2014 yeah I know it's still old) and that may open up this area if it's related to the maps. I can live with it I think now.

New(er) Nav DVD will be here Thursday. I'll reload it and see how it goes. I'll let you know!
Updated the software...it loaded itself and updated as soon as the version ~AF was put into the tray.

The unit is for some reason much faster to boot/load. Don't ask me why.

Seems it's better, and it's working quite well (for the last know revision to the software).
