Ok, SO I bought a new grill, and it came with the little Chrysler emblem that you have to glue or tape on, well like a dumb azzz I decided to use gorilla glue, and it foamed up around the edges and onto the grill, any ideas on how to get this off?

Have you tried just some simple Goo Gone or something like that? I've never dealt with that stuff, but I've heard it tough. Sometimes home remedies are good for these things, too. I'd ask my wife about some of the things she can make out of the kitchen to combat adhesive if she were here right now.
Google?

I think Gorilla Glue should come with a label on top of the other label - one that says DO NOT USE THIS GLUE for any of things we recommend you use it for, except wood.

Sorry, that's not much help to you, but it's an old rant of mine. Gorilla glue is an exceptional outdoor wood glue. Good for porous stuff that you can sand after the fact. Beyond that, it's a hell of a mess.

Is it dry? If so, it's not looking good. Sandpaper. If it's still wet, you might get lucky with some alcohol - then when that doesn't work, you're up to MEK or acetone. Acetone might take it off - along with any wax and probably any fake chrome, so that's a last resort.

I'm pretty sure also if the acetone will ruin the emblem. If you try the adhesive remover like Goo Gone, you might want to try and remove some of the excess glue with an exacto knife first.
Also if the Goo Gone doesn't work try one of the other brands.

That's pretty scary looking.

Can you get a couple more pics? different angles?

If it's hardened enough, it might pry off if you are careful and use something to help release it's grip. I
doubt if any wiping stuff will help much. You may end up with a 'sand it off' solution.

First, sorry, but you used WAAAAAAY too much glue. Second, when I was at parris island, we used "off" bug spray to get anything off of anything. I'm telling you man, that stuff will take the white off rice. BEWARE though, my girlfriends dad got model paint on his brand new dining room table, so I busted the "off" out. It' took off the model paint, and the lacquer, straight to wood. Not a good day. So use it sparingly.

Yup,try the warm soapy water first and if it comes off, use the 3m tape instead..

Some times acetone will mar/discolor the finish on the grille. I tried to remove some glue off another pc of alum, and it etchted the alum.

You may want to contact a paint/body supply house for ideas.

and sorry to say but that was a bit to much of glue, 3m tape next time.
good luck.....

well i got most of it off, I am going to go ahead and put it on until I get enough money saved up to have it color matched. I wonder if you would be able to tell if I had it painted just gloss black, instead of the black pearl with with the flakes

If your going to have a paint shop do the work there probably wont be any added cost for the small amount that is takes to do a grill. Even if you have a paint supply store mix it for you to spray it wont be much more, 5-10 bucks at most for the pint your going to need (1 pint will give you 1 quart sprayed) way more than your going to need for the grill. You will have a lot left over for touch up repairs later.
