Quick question!

I'm getting four 6x9 BA speakers from a fellow member (thanks COOKZ32!).

Will they be fine to run without the BA amp that comes with the BA package? I think I may pick up a set of 3.5" for the dash, unless I can find the BA ones here.

I used 6X9 3-way Boston Acoustic speakers in the back of my Magnum and also replaced my door speakers with some BA's. For the final touch, I installed some BA tweeters in the dash with crossovers in the doors for the best sound possible. I did not install an amp, just used the stock one that came in the car when new. Looks stock, but sounds awesome.

The thing is, I dont have an amp at all..... I'm upgrading my stock speakers to the BA speakers available as an option (which most of you have).

I guess I'm going to have to find an amp to run the speakers then?

I would say an amp would be preferred. I have seen a few around here for sale . I am not an audio type so the stock BA system is just right for me.

If I remember correctly, the BA's are 2 ohm where the base are 4 ohm. Just wouldnt, crank it too long, the HU will heat up.
