I don't have any experience w/ the delta series... However, I replaced 2 40-series Flowmasters with a pair of 50 series, and it fixed the annoying resonance problem I had in my '70 Road Runner. The 383 still sounds great, but it's not deafening in the cabin at 45mph anymore. :)

Hope that helps a bit.

I use the 50-SUV on my Jeep Commander, had a flowmaster 50 delta on it at first, drone drone drone, went to the SUV and all drone disappeared, they work as advertised. So yes, I recommend over the delta. Same great sound from the outside, no annoying noise on the inside. However, they are BIG, you may have trouble fitting 2 under your ride.

Only one way to find out, write down the specs from the Flowmaster website, grab a measuring tape and get under your car. The guys running catless mids would really benefit from this if they were to fit under there.

Are you talking about flowmasters p/n 524554,it has dual 2.25 inlets and outlets. Not sure about the mufflers overall size as its not stated on flowmasters site, but it looks like it might work in place of our suitcases.I'm running super 40s w/ resos deleted and although they sound great at idle and WOT, the drone at freeway speeds can at times be totally obnoxious,D.:beerchug:
