Trying to work my way out of a limp mode condition on my 06 CSRT8. This all started with trying to install a Tranzformer. Immediately threw a CEL which read as a P0778 code "Solenoid Control B Electrical" on my scan tool. I discovered finally that my TCM had lost a "blade" on the connector. Turns out this is the #37 pin which is consistent with the DTC. So, seeing no way to reliably repair a connector on the TCM I have a new MTCM on the way. My question is this: after installing the new MTCM, and, assuming that this corrects the underlying problem (open circuit to the solenoid control) will I have to bring it to the dealer for a reset to get out of limp mode? I have a Torque OBD tool that can clear the codes. Just not sure if there is another level of reset.
