I got pulled over...for the 5th time? I think it's the fifth time anyway. i do know this is my 4th ticket. The worst part is: I'm not a bad driver. I was speeding down the road by my house wasn't paying attention and as we all know these things pick up speed like the ****ens. pass a cop he pulls around REAL quick. pulls me over IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE. 60 in a 35. $145 and 2 points.

worst part was, it was a crown vic and i know i can out run those. i debated on informing him of that...but i didn't think he'd find the humor in it lol

You shoulda. Maybe if he challenged you to a race, and you won, you might have gotten out of that hefty ticket ya got there.

yeah it's funny here, it doesn't shave anything off and it's a bunch of punk 16 year olds, old drunks and then me. they do it if you get X points in X time frame. i think i had 5 in 6 months?

Very true...you gotta use common sense and know where you are in order to drop the pedal. 95MPH on the rural Interstate in good weather can often be negotiated...40MPH in a 25MPH School Zone will get ya nailed every time.

60 MPH in a residential 35MPH right after school starts sounds like a sure ticket to me. Good luck fighting that one.

That would definatly be a problem though Rev. Speeding tickets are like savings bonds. The longer you keep them the greater they mature!

I would vote, Radar Detector! Mine just saved my arse yesterday as I was having fun with a Dodge Charger chasing my Ram. We were going 75 or so on some back country roads, no traffic, when my Escort goes nuts. I slammed on the brakes instantly and luckily the Charger didn't end up in my truck bed. The cop pulled over and I figured I'm toast, but he didn't turn around and follow us. Figured he didn't get a lock on me, but he knew what was going on.

lol it was midnight in a school zone. i just wasn't paying attention to my speed usually i go 45 in the 35 b'c it's a long road ya know? but yeah a radar detector is on my list of things to get immediately after paying this ticket.

and yeah i just happen to get caught every time i do something stupid.

it's not so much a neighborhood but a secondary road with a school off it. i'm not saying what i did was right but it was an accident.
