Yep, that's right. The doors are done!

Thanks to Scott at St. Paul Automotive foe a job well done at a great price!

BIG thanks to Dodger for coming to rescue me from boredom during the 10 hour install. He swung by to take me to lunch, and after that he ended up running me all over town to find some OEM plastic expanding rivets so the front end could be re-assembled. THAT was a chore because no one had them, and Dodger was awesome about giving up his time.

Well, here's the pics, I am in love with them. The doors swing upwards EFFORTLESSLY, and the seal is as good as factory when closed. NO wind noise or anything.

Dodger took some pics of the install, and when he uploads them we'll post them up here as well.

price of install and kit?
$1600 shipped for the LSD kit from our man Josh at HHP, and $800 for install.

I had to stop at a gas station for a minute and when my door went up the reaction was like I ran over a nun... everyone was looking and gawking.

Thanks for the compliments everyone! It was worth every single penny. I think it is one of the most visually striking mods you can do, and they are not as impractical as I feared. It's easy to get in and out whether you open them upwards, or as a traditional door.

Yup, 30 degrees opening, and 90 degrees up.
They look abso-freekin-lutely awesome! :not_worth
Can you post a pic from behind with them open, but not raised? I'd like to see how far 30 degrees really is. How easy is it to get in and out with just the horizontal opening?
Beautiful. I'm spending almost 2 grand to lower the car about an inch. What the hell was I thinking! I think I like the way you spent your money more.
