My dealer promised to keep me informed and I have heard nothing so that must mean you cannot order one yet. I'm sure the dealer will be true to his word. lol

I have an order in for a new Camaro but GM is delaying production at this point so I think I am going to look into ordering a Challenger. Is there any dealers on this forum that gives discounts to forum members. Also if the classic option is available why isn't Chrysler putting it on the build you own part of their web site?

I dont know if it is available yet. It is in the add slick you can get at the dealership, which is where the above picure is from.

Since Chrysler is currently in somewhat of a financial crisis, it makes sense that they'd be offering special editions of their current products to try and boost sales. Their latest, the Dodge Challenger R/T Classic, features retro badging and pinstripes, as well as model-specific twenty-inch wheels and fully functional hood scoops which allow for better engine cooling.
Only three colors will be available: Hemi Orange, TorRed, and B5 Blue. Optional equipment includes a six-speed manual transmission (an absolute must) which will also get you a Track Pack, 3.92 rear axle, and a slight boost in power.
Pricing for the Challenger R/T Classic starts at $34,005 and should be hitting dealer lots next month. Click through the post to read Chrysler's official press release.
