As the title says, I am considering putting a 8 speed auto in my 73 Cuda that will be powered by a 3rd Gen Hemi. The 8HP70 is way more common and easier to find. Basically just getting it for the core to be upgraded. Or do I need to look for the 8HP90 for a starting point? Thanks

Try calling Southern Hotrod, they have a 70 build option.
