Well none of us have a bge block. We have the car block has different internals. The pistons being the weak point.

The 17+ cars are if not all , most come bge blocks. They are NOT different pistons , rods , or anything of the sort. The bge block has better plumbing, and some other minor differences from I'm what I know. That's about it.

Satera tuning has more than one hp70 in the 9’s and plenty more running big numbers. Is it bulletproof, no. Is the hp90 stronger, sure. He has been proving however, that the hp70 can be quite stout.

Hate to be the guy they have different pistons and run 9.5:1 with our heads on them. Good for 10 pounds of boost or so.

My mistake , they do have the better water jackets/plumbing as mentioned. They also have better , but not great pistons , and they come in oem form of 10:1. Certainly not ideal in oem form for a build , but if it can be found from a wreck , definitely a good budget starting point.
