Anyone have issues with their camber? I'm having a bit of a challenge getting my rear wheels camber within spec. I found this website that has front and back camber kits for our cars:

http://www.specprod.com/NEW_DIR/C_NEW_PARTS.HTML

type in 66010, 66020 for rear camber kits
type in 66030, 66035 for front camber kits

Has anyone else used anything else? i believe chrysyler has some camber bolts, but those are for the front.

Take a good look at your rear wheels. Do they point in like this: / = driver side, \ = passenger side

If so, i think the rear camber bushing fixes it. I'm not selling, just letting you guys know that this is available and to see if anybody else has adjusted their camber some other way. I got mine back from goodyear today and they couldn't get the rear camber on the driver side right. man was it obvious. Anyways, any help would be appreciated.

thanks!

Wow! No one is having issue other than me huh. Hmmm, usually when you lower your car you will run into this issue. anyways, if anybody has been successful getting your rear camber right, please let me know how you did it. The fnkychkn light has been drawn as well.

I'm out 1/2 degree per side, it is manageable and handles great.
I will drop the rear a couple more turns when Fatchance puts my Hotckiss bars on Thursday.
Fatchance has a line on another option for the camber issue, more to tell on this soon.

Man, i hope he does it soon. My charger is in the garage. Like i said, i messed with lower control arm and now she steers worth a crap. I should have left it alone. I can't take back to Goodyear, because they will know i f'd with it.

I know mine is out a bit now that I've dropped it. It doesn't seem to cause any problems yet, and I haven't noticed any uneven tire wear so far. I noticed that these parts are for RWD only. I wonder what the difference is between the RWD and AWD setup?

I do not believe that is true. I also have the KWV2s and am looking into a camber kit. Just standing in front or behind my car, you can see the wheels leaning / \ ..... No problems yet, but I think this needs to get fixed for optimum wear of the tires.

I am having mine installed thursday with the hotckiss sways.

I'll ask the shop about camber issues and post their response. I'm only gong down the standard 7/8" out of the box with the kW's. Hopefully that won't cause an issue with the camber.

THanks

Let me know when you find one. Have you looked at the ones posted by Rander?

Yeah, the KW's will not fix that problem at all. If anything it will make it worse the lower you go. The camber bushing is suppose to fix this /. It's weird, though. know one has heard of these yet. Anybody else have anything else going to get the rear camber right? I'm giving up and taking to chrysler where a Viper - SRT specialist he can try to get it right without the camber bushing. I'm crossing my fingers though.

Ouch rob. your left camber is way off. I could only imagine how your look from the rear. Heck mine is within spec -1.3 and it really looks bad. seems the left rear camber is the odd man out. Mine is too!

The lower half of the first pic is from my last alignment in June.
I have KWv2's that were installed about 1.5 months earlier, so the springs had pretty much finished settling.
We couldn't get my caster or camber fully in spec. We did discuss the camber kit, but the high cost wasn't worth it to me.
Tires seem to be wearing OK.
IMO the car's wheels visually look OK, but the numbers do tell a different story.

^^Cost for the rear is only $69.00. Front is costly though. I found the fronts for little as $299.00 though. I just bought the rears, so I am anxious to see if it fixes the problem. Looks to be worse if you use the Sportlines, since it is a lower drop. But I do have the Eibach Pro Dampers going on at the same time as the rear camber.

lowerriderman, did you verify if you had the 39.5 or 41.5 size rear bushings? I called speciality products yesterday and got the news. I was ready to buy, but ran into this snag. i measured mine yesterday and i think i have the 39.5 mil bushing. that sucks because SP currently only carries the 41.5 mil bushing. Arrrrggg!!! i aske fnkychkn if i could bore the control and tension arms, but he was against it.

damit!

No..I ordered what they specifically listed for the Magnum. Did not know there was a difference except for the amount of camber adjustment you need. So these might not work is what you are saying?

It all depends. My charger is an 06' with build date 8/05. I checked my bushing size with a caliper and it was just under 4 centimeters, which i think should equate to 39.5 mil. If yours was built after mine, you may have the bigger bore(41.5mil).

Well I guess I will find out once they go to put them on. I will be having my Eibach Pro Dampers installed at the same time.

Well I did it too! I'll figure it out when they get here. Heck, they have a 90 day return policy.
