All,

Our region is, I believe, the only region in the US that uses heating oil. I just came across an interesting tidbit of info. It seems that bio-diesel has recently (not sure of when, but seems to have occurred fairly recently) been certified for use in home heating systems. Pricing hasn't been set, but an effort is underway to offer it via the regular dealers.

Ok, so I don't want to think about it in the middle of summer, either, but planning ahead never hurts. The way things are going, it could be cheaper than regular fuel-oil by year's end...
