On the way home from my company Christmas party we went past
our local dealer, Campbell Chrysler Dodge Jeep.
What a pleasant surprise for the holiday.
An early 70s vintage Mopar on the left. I think it is a GTX.
Then a 73 Challenger,
a 2008or2009 Challenger
and an SRT8 Charger in black.

So I was dying to get a picture. When my friend and I went back on
lunch hour to take pictures the Challenger was out on the street and
there was a beautiful little Prowler sitting in it's place. It was a very
odd color of red with copper highlights when I saw it sitting out on
my way to work one day.

So out of the five models pictured, what would be on your list if you could pick one?
I'm really liking the GTX but the R/T Challenger would work just fine too!

69' Plymouth. Doesn't look like a GTX. Did it have twin horizontal stripes at the bottom 6" or so above the rocker?

GTX looks like a dodge to me too. got 5 digits in the grill, has the tri star on the vinyl top, marker lights are too low for a plymouth.... Rear quarter body line doesn't look right for plymouth either.

I thought the one was a 73 because that's the numbers they have on the windshield. It probably is a Cuda.
If I get a chance I will find out if I get to work this week. It is only 2 blocks from work.

Could be...but it doesn't have the rubber bumper pads on the front...like a 73 should...that's why I said 72. It is common, however, for those who don't like them to take them off. I did.

It's a 68 Coronet, as the Grille has "D O D G E" spelled out on the grille. The bumble bee stripe on the back leads me to believe it's a Super Bee. Here is a 68 Super Bee, albeit a custom, with a 69 style Six Pack lift off hood and incorrectly colored headlight bezels. Thanks to allpar.

OK I called the dealer.
The Cuda is a '73.
What I was calling a GTX is actually a rare 1968 Super Bee. It has the 426 Hemi with auto. There were 92 made and they believe there are only 34 left. This one belongs to one of the parts guys who got it in rough shape and restored it.
But wait. There's more! The GSM Dennis lent me a Plum Crazy Daytona when they were first out on the streets for an LXForums picnic. Unfortunately he was laid off a couple of months ago. I have not talked to his replacement Scott as much so figured the days of them lending cars and being invited to test drive the new Challengers were over. Not so! Scott has told me to let him know when we have a Meet and he will let me take a car. He remembered Dennis loaning us the Daytona and thought it was great. He also wanted to know if I had come over and driven the new Challenger. I said I had but not the 6 speed. He said come over anytime and I can drive it. So I figured my contact was gone over there but I was wrong. It really is the most wonderful time of the year.
This is me.

This is me on Mopar.

I guess it's my turn for the pink stain on the garage floor.
Warning: Graphic Content in the first image:

I took the car to the dealer and they put a half a pint of power steering fluid in and
I go back on Friday for repair. While I was waiting I took a picture of the cars close up. They said they have never had so many people stop in as have been attracted by this display. I did not realize the vintage Mopars are in fact for sale, the Superbee Hemi for 80k and the Cuda for 38k. The Prowler is not for sale. Sorry I did not get more photos of the B-Black SRT8 Charger but enough members have those here, that I cannot portray it any better than theirs. Here they are:

This picture's only value is that Challenger sitting just outside the window.
