A place called Medieval Times just recently opened up in Atlanta and so I was perusing their website to see what the price for the dinner show was and then I saw THIS link:

http://www.medievaltimes.com/whatsnewroadNtrack.htm :racing:

The article will be in the November issue of Road & Track so look for it on the stands in October most likely. That's a nice trio of wagons they have there, but the MSRT8 certainly is the cream of the crop, in my not-so-humble opinion.

Cool find DawsonMagnum.

We've had Medieval Times here for years. It isn't a bad show, you eat with your hands and the Wench brings your drinks.

thats great, but the Magnum is the only wagon for me though. All the other one's may be fast, but they just look "girly". I dont give a damn if that benz wagon is fast,..........still looks sissafied. JMO

MB E55 AMG and an Audi S4 Avant.
Aren't those - like really Expensive ?
the AMG has to be ove $60,000? No?
No idea what the Audi sells for...

Couldn't get me to trade my Maggie RT straight up for either.
(unless I had a buyer for the AMG lined up and I could get a MSRT8)

Yeah, they're expensive...if you click on the first pic, it will bring it up in Adobe Acrobat and you can zoom in to read the text. The article says they're not running these 3 cars head-to-head due to their vast price differences, but are instead celebrating all three as a return to high-power station wagons that can handle twisties.

I didnt know that the Magnum was a "mid-sized wagon" ???
What would be considered a "full-sized wagon" ?

So I went and did "build your own" on all 3 so they were as evenly equ8iped as possible.

Note: the Mercedes wouldn't let me build one...just had to go with the standard that they have set up on their web site

Audi S4 Avant ..... $56,270.00

2006 Mercedes E55 AMG Wagon ..... $83,375.00

Amazingly enough I was able to run one of these rare mercs recently. Full story here:

If you don't have time for the read I'll tell you we ran even from 3 different rolls. More than respectable considering the cost difference and, as someone pointed out, looks are no contest.
