Are there any suspension upgrade kits specifically for the AWD Charger RT's?

Not looking to rally the tank/sofa, but do want something that will make it handle like it's on rails...

big fat stable rails lol

Eibach makes a lowering Pro Kit for the AWD. Lowers about 2" in the front and 2.25" in the rear.
do they have any front upper and rear lower control arm upgrades for our cars? I want to upgrade to get the hardest launch possible with the AWD, new torque converter and possible valve body upgrade. I might not hit low 12's but at least I can be very fast 0-110 lol
You'd have to ask the drag racers, but you don't want to launch an AWD like you do a RWD. You'll melt parts. I believe that the only Control Arms available are stock replacements. If you hear otherwise, please let me know.

There's also struts available from a vendor here.
We carry the BC Racing coilover kits for the AWD as well, prices are shipped;

I'm assuming you are looking to upgrade the handling.

I 'd go with the BC Racing coilovers, as they are the best setup for the AWD's in the suspension upgrade area. They should stiffen it up and make the car feel a lot better.

We carry the kit as well, hit us up if you want any help or more info on this stuff.
Besides the coilovers, what are the other parts that can help it handle? And does anyone know part numbers of sway bars and such that fit on the awd? thanks.
I swear by the BC Racing coilovers. They are awesome. Also, there are non-OEM control arms available. I bought a set of them last year. They are from a German company that begins with M (not Mercedes). If someone reminds me when I'm at home, I'll look up what they are.

That would be great, Im eager to install the BC, any sway bars that you would recommend? also are the control arms a decent difference or any positive gain from them?
I don't have aftermarket sways in. The coilovers stopped a lot of body roll in their tightest setting, and further softened the ride in their loosest setting. As for the control arms, I haven't noticed much if any difference, other than they haven't shown signs of wear like the OEM ones did after this much mileage.
I think the rear sway bar can be upgraded with the same sway bar the RWD models would upgrade with. Your stuck with the front OEM sway bar formthe time being until a vendor, or if a vendor ever decides to produce an upgrade bar.
I put an st suspension rear sway bar on, a mopar front strut brace, and bwoody rear end links. Car handles much better. Rear sway is a major pain in the butt to change, but I felt like it was worth it. Oh and that is on my 12 rt awd.

Thanks for the tip, but how is the best way to launch the AWD RT without breaking anything? I am going with a high stall torque converter real soon.

I have never launched anything with a respectable amount of low end torque before
The transfer case doesn't really "melt" ... it "explodes". ;)

Do a Search here for the threads from LouZ and Tank8289, or in the AWD section for "transfer case, launch". That might help.

I think I may start with this route on my 2009 RT AWD...

kinda nervous about dropping it and lower due to the trouble I read about people lowering theirs..

I am also gonna go with a smaller diameter high performance summer tire ASAP. Never been a big fan of all seasons and speed lol

Is your car lowered? I have been reading online that dropping the AWD' cause havoc on the components (CV boot/joint, bushings etc.)

Is there a certain limit on dropping the AWD's before shiet starts breaking??

I seriously want to upgrade the suspension system after I do some more minor bolt on's.

It's annoying and scary at high speeds

I don't mind the 18's, but a smaller diameter high performance tire would do wonders.

Who is the vendor?
Not sure if you're looking for actual "struts" or not but we carry the AWD specific coilover kits. PM us if you want some help/info.
