Hey all, I have been experiencing problems with my autostick shifting for a couple months now. Car has 35000km on it and about 3000km ago I started having an upshift problem. The transmission will always downshift from drive to 4,3,2,1 with no problems. However it will intermittantly NOT UPSHIFT from 1 to 2, 2 to 3 or 3 to 4. It really caught me by surprise the first time it happened on a hot muggy day (around 39*C or 103F.). WOT in first gear, move the lever to the right and...nothing! ?? Car hits rev limiter and I try again nothing, tried about 6 or 7 times and it would not upshift. Immediately tried 2nd to 3rd, same problem. It has been getting progressively worse every day. It used to be on ly after driving it for a while on a hot day, or if it sat and heat soaked for 30min or more. Now it is happening even on a cool day, or shortly after startup. Has been in the dealer 3 times now, they cant find anything, no fault codes and they have no idea what the problem is. I am thinking it is the electrical switch that sends the signal to the transmission, but I dont really feel like digging into the car since it is under warranty. The first time I complained about it I was told that I need to learn how to shift the car...:roll: ....Please...I have talked to everyone I know involved in the development of the SRT platform, and nobody has an answer. Anyone have this experience with their car as well? Please post up as it has taken the joy of driving this car right out of the equation... on a side note, I really like th elook of the new slotted rotors that are peeping out from behind my rims and calipers...get the TSB done!
