I'm going to upgrade my 2006 Dodge Charger R/T rear end by replacing it with the rear end off of an Srt.... I heard that the stock srt axle half shafts break and can be a waste of money... I'm trying to find some aftermarket ones to fit to the stock srt rear end assembly but I am running low on money... any help would be much appreciated.

Depending on how much HP you're gonna be running and street or drag radials, but RDP is supposed to be coming out with 600hp soon. 900 and a 1000 is available also. Driveshaftshop also have a 500hp or 1000 hp shafts but are pricy. The 600hp from RDP I think is the best deal so far. $849 for the pair I think. I may actually end up settling for those. They are rated at 600RWHP and my car has 537rwhp, they recommended the 900rwhp for me, but I don't know if I want to pay a $1000 more for that. Hp is HP I really think I'll be fine with the 600HP one. I've been driving on the stock one for quite some time now and nothings happened *knock on wood*

What are you going to the SRT rear for? The way I see it, the axles for the SRT are about $500 more than the RT. As soon as gears come out for the RT, you can swap gears and get the cheaper axles for about the same price as the SRT swap with axles will cost (and you'll get better gearing).
