Some day I would like to make my way to the memorial. Still too fresh for me now I guess. Plus not sure my wife wants to take a vacation to the D.C. Area while I search for treasure at 8th and I, attempt to get a knife hand photo with St. Mattis and proceed to get drunk in Q town... lol....

Anyways, to my blue brothers and sisters: Be safe, be good be true! Keep your head on a swivel. Bring your squad mates and yourself home every shift!

I went in 2008. My squad went to memorialize a lost comrade and ecsort motorcades. It was quite an experience. We are sending a couple of officers to ride in the unity tour this year.

I hope to make it back soon.
