I took my Mag into the dealer this morning after finding a huge puddle in my driveway yesterday. The fluid was wattered down so it must be taking in water from the AC. Hopefully I get it back today, what sucks is I only have 4700 miles on it

That stinks. Did they mention anything about your mods? Obviously not for your current issue but will they take note for anything in the future?

It was the O-ring, and they did fix it. The tranny feels very solid now.

I walked out to my car today to find a puddle of fluid under it. Guess I have to wait until Tuesday to take it to get it fixed. Not very pleased about this at all.

Kind of sucks that I can search on "leaking transmission" and find numerous threads about it on cars that are only 2 years old at the max.

My car had it and I saw it when I got underneath. Bad tranny gasket around the plastic piece. Covered under warr.

Thanks. But from a strictly technical standpoint, there is no TSB for this issue as far as the 2006 model year is concerned. This leads me to believe that DC at least attempted to fix it.

I guess I'm just looking for info beyond anecdotal evidence and the TSB's. Anyone know how to find out if any kind of assembly or design change was implemented between 05-06?

Well my Mag was only 7 months old, brought it in twice

First time they said it was just the computer

Then a month later, tranny completely failed, had to get it flatbed to the garage then wait 3 days while they rebuilt the tranny and changed the torque converter.

Mine just left a big pudding yesterday. Guess I'll will swing by the dealer and pickup some new seals and replace it myself.
Anyone here done the DIY replacement?

Update: I found Joseph's excellent post in the Knowledge Base on transmission servicing and o-ring replacement.
