AFE Magnum Force Stage 2 Intake System For 2005-2006 5.7L & 6.1L SRT8 Hemi Magnum / Charger / 300C.
The Dodge Magnum / Charger is one of the most exciting vehicles to come out of Dodge in a long time. Following the same principles that made Dodge a powerhouse back in the 70's, Dodge put a big Hemi engine in a stylish body. With a 5.7L displacement producing 340hp and a humongous 390 pound-feet of torque, this Hemi V8 destroys most sports cars half its size.
However, aFe was not content with that type of power. We wanted more power. So with a talented team of engineers and a brand new 2005 Dodge Magnum / Charger, we were on our way. We wanted to see how much more power the Hemi could really make if it could breathe better. All the hard work paid off with results of 10 horsepower and 16 ft-lbs of torque to the wheels. Here is what our team created.
Our test car was a brand new 2005 Dodge Magnum borrowed from Mr. Dave Clem. The Magnum was equipped with the 5.7L Hemi V8 engine. The intake system comes complete with a heat blocking intake tube, intake filter housing, a large high performance inverted top air filter, urethane coupler and a complete hardware kit. Installation time is about 30 min. for the average DIY and requires just a few sockets and screwdrivers. In about a 1/2 hour you can have an easy 10 horsepower and 16 ft-lbs of torque.
