Been here, done that.............but the tuning wasn't really there yet to support that sort of compression. Quite a few guys running 11+ compression now and with more control over the timing/fuel curves, adjustable cam timing its certainly possible and maybe even beneficial.

Would be nice to see how it works out with proper tuning.

I think the key here is he's asking "stroker" so custom pistons are used and I can make the CR whatever is needed and match the reverse dome to the chamber of the 6.1 head. I used big chamber heads in Jasons case because we didn't know if he was going 6.1 or 5.7 heads when the pistons were ordered so I set his engine so we could run big chamber 6.1 heads or 0.020 milled 5.7 heads and keep about the same CR either way.

That being said all you need to do is spec the right custom piston, switch the exhaust manifolds and corresponding exhaust to work with the 6.1 ports and tune for the new engine, so EGR delete and a tune. Use 6.1 pushrods and 5.7 head gaskets.

On the 400 stroker it's just a matter of ordering the pistons with the desired compression ratio and getting the 6.1 head and intake cores. Why the low compression ratio? looking at boost down the road?

112 is as tight as I've gone so far. Hemis are a bit differet than wedge motors in that regards. If the duration is very high that tight of an LSA may be a bear to tune.

I know our tuner LAFRAD wanted a 111 LSA on his cam and I ordered a 112. At this point I think he's glad I did but I'm sure he'll chime in.
