I have a set I purchased on eBay some time ago. While the panel itself will bolt up with no issues, I know the release handle is in a different position on the 300 vs. the Magnum. I purchased the interior "rods" that connect the release handle to the interior door mechanism, but never got around to trying to make it work. My other concern is what the door looks like closed when it matches up with the dash.
I HATE the cheap round plastic speaker grille on the Magnum door panels, which is why I bought the 300 panels. I just have too many projects going on at once! I will be out of town until Monday..... but I'll try to at least take a look at one door panel next week and see if it is easy or not!
It seems like a better option would be for a vendor to come up with a nice speaker cover. Perhaps one that just sticks on, on top of the existing cover... If a vendor wanted to get more fancy, a carpeted cover for the whole lower panel... But yes, it is one area of the stock Magnum that looks really cheap, IMHO...
You can also take the grills off the door panel itself. Then speay them lightly with spray glue and stretch some speaker grill cloth. I cant remember how the grill is attached to the panel when I had it off. I tried to blow the pic up and it looks like they are some kind of plastic rivets. Adn they also look hollow. You can undo the lips of the fasteners and then take a washer and screw to reattach the grills. I would also lay a small bead of silicone where the grill touches the door panel to add a lil bonding power. I have done this on past vehicles. I would have done it on this one, but the doors are the only ones with a well defined grill. I am anal about sysemtry(sp) and it would bug me to have non matching grills.
Here's what I did to my rear doors. The front doors will be similar but will have a 3-way speaker pod also. Click on the link below and you can see all the build pics for the complete install.
