Hey all! I am considering the Dynomax #19422 dual catback system.

I did find a sound clip on their site: http://72.51.34.169/soundsofdynomax/flash_content/menu.html

Scroll down to 06 Charger 3.5L

Anyone have this sytem on their 3.5L? Any comments?

Thanks for any input, good or bad! :beerchug:

PS.: Please don't suggest Zoomers; that is what is coming off the car.

No not at all. There is nothing wrong with the system; I could not in good conscience sell it if there was.

I am switching exhaust & exhaust companies for other reasons.

Ok this is getting to much of a "Randy"
Yea, you are right: I can see where politely answering another member's question would be considered as such.

Great! Could you describe the sound, & also, I have not seen the tips up close. Are they true dual wall (like Magnaflow) or are they a rolled single wall?

Thanks! :thumbs_u:

They sound somewhat like the web charger. Without a resonator I sort of get a small drone at certain rpms 2000, not sure what the zoomers are like. The tips are double walled. i went out and took a pic for you, its dark here hope this helps. Again I like the sound. Where I live at i'm the only person with a 3.5 mag just two in my town the other is a RT and three 300 one c. So I'm the only to have a v6 with a cat back, with only a v6 toyota with a catback flowmaster to compare it to. My Mag does not sound like my old 69 Charger RT 440 Magnum or my '73 318 Charger but it has a nice throaty sound for me.

Man, thanks for the pic and the commentary! :thumbs_u: I like the fact that very few people have it. Well, that, or nobody chose to post! Appears to be a well-built system. Did you install the driver's side heat shield? Is there a need for it?

I felt like I needed to put one on over the gas tank. I got a adhesive type from jegs can't remember the make. I think I will redo it as soon as I come up with a better idea. Its been on for a couple months, it has not rained much here yet but it will and snow and salt will test my adhesive type heatshield. I wish mopar had a heatshield for the drivers side sxt, I could not find a mopar part on line.

I remember seeing a thread about getting the factory part somewhere... I will try to search for it & see if there was a part # listed.
