I was always under the impresion that the new 5.7 Hemi was a VCT..Variable Cam Timing but I see alot of enties in posts calling it VVT

What is it.............when you Build Your Own on Dodge.com it says 5.7 VCT engine

The second generation 5.7 Hemi produces up to 390 horsepower and 407 lb-ft of torque in the 2009 Dodge Ram 1500, using variable cam timing; it shuts off four cylinders when possible to get good mileage. The same engine produces 375 horsepower in the 2009 Dodge Challenger R/T, and a minimum of 356 hp (possibly 365?) in the Aspen/Durango. (Car and Driver writes: 300C, 359 hp; Charger, 368 hp; Challenger, 372/376 hp.

Thats what I thought but I see it all over in threads as VVT so I figured I would bring it up
