What are the Pro's and Con's of this year Magnum/Engine. I am looking at possibly trading the 300 in on the Magnum and wanted to hear what people had to say. Thanks!

well said:beerchug: I bought my 07 SXT Brand new and not a single problem with her. With just a few simple upgrades I've done I can keep up right with the RT's. I got the 3.5 knowing ahead that I wasn't getting the car for the power. The 3.5 is alittle easier on the pocket book and now at this time in the ecomoney every penny counts.

The SXT rides great. Great balance in the corner for such a heavy car. It s-#&ks that they stopped production on such a great handling car.

hey 89grand i know what you are saying but read the first post again. does he ask what is the difference between an SXT and an RT? no he does not. he is asking what the Pro's and Con's of an 07 Magnum/Engine. then you chirp in an say buy a hemi. that is not what he asked. get that though your thick "hemi" skull.

Just because someone asks about the SXT does not mean other opinions can not be mentioned. Get THAT through your thick SXT skull.

That was a direct response to someone with the SXT attitude that claimed HEMI owners were pissed because they bought a HEMI, which of course makes no sense at all, I suppose I shouldn't have even responded since it was so ludicrous a statement, that much is true.

I seriously doubt you have a higher top speed, but I really wouldn't be pissed if somehow you did, I mean I've never had mine much past 100mph. There's no where to go that fast. I'm much more more concerned getting up to speed faster.:thumbs_u:

Getting beat by several car lengths is not keeping up by the way, it's getting smoked.

Dude, how am I wrong?? I'm driving a V6. I was 1-2 car lengths behind him. Of course I got beat, but smoked. NO, Smoked is getting several car lengths in the first 3-4 seconds, and finishing with a good 6 or more. After all he's not driving an SRT, he didn't smoke me!!

Were talking POWER here, not extra things like power seats and a sunroof that came with your R/T...FYI, Brakes and the suspension handling has nothing to do with engine overall power.

I'm trying to push the point that to spend the extra 10 g's to be driving a NEW R/T over a NEW SXT isn't justifiable. Sure you get alot more but with that 10 g's I can put that into my SXT and tune it right up to go faster then an R/T. Plus have some left over for mods.

And where in my post did I say EVERY Hemi owner is pissed cause they didn't buy an SXT???

You thar, Mr. CMack, drop the race subject cause that whole topic in terms with this is completely irrelevant.

I read what was written but I don't agree with it, cause there is and always will be Hemitudes on this site. From time to time there are some pretty nasty things said maybe once or twice but to deal with it everytime that's another story. There are a few members that aren't exactly on my A-list. I wanted to check out MOFO 6 and see what the deal was with the intakes. Now you should never take chat typing to heart but instead of getting a "Hi" or "Howz it goin?", I receive more of "you have a V6, what are you doing here?"

From Show's standpoint he feels offended and I do to, simply because the original statement is a complete negative comment towards V6 LX's.

"The only Con is that you'll wish you stepped up to an R/T if not an SRT."

So remember, think before you speak. Your second post should have been your first. There are other options out there, have you looked into getting an R/T? If you had been working for me and a customer felt that what you said was rude I would have fired you on the spot. Statements like above seem a bit common and this site shouldn't be a bitter community about each others cars. If anything that'll make a person stay away.

LoL this is funny!! Everyone is looking at me like I'm the bad guy. I posted those 3 different posts cause I was adressing 3 different things and couldn't do the multi quote thing. I was just stating that what you wrote that I said, was wrong on more then 1 occasion!! That's All!!

Ohh and please...correct away...I have a good sence of humor!!

Here's a thought. All you SE and SXT owners who are having issues with Hemi owners, (you know who you are) go hang out and post in the V6 forum. I'm sure most Hemi owners won't bother you there...lol. BTW - I saw some Bad to the bone 6 cylinders at the silicone valley auto show today...500+hp, 200+mph...Bring on those SRTs. One more thing.

Hey "show" Your sig says if you aint rollin on 22s, then you aint rollin. You sayin that anyone that doesn't have 22s is somehow less than you? Sounds familiar doesn't it. If you can say it about wheels, why can't others say it about Hemis? I'm out.....Lmfao

this is a magnum section and the question was asked in here not in the V6 section. but it would not matter if it was or not. some "hemi" owner still would have post like it has happen in their taking a cheap shot.

it is in my sig as a joke. you don't see me in a rims size discussion saying anything like that or taking a cheap shot. i just tell them what i have and say that i have not had any problem. you don't see me going into a thread about a guys talking about 20s and saying "if you aint rollin on 22s, then you aint rollin". nope not once.

we already had the talk that my cars top speed it 141mph and you did not believe me. DAHNIC with his 3.5L has done over 150mph.

Sorry if I pushed the wrong buttons. I love the hemi. Didn't wanna come off as one that hated them. I had a choice between a 07 hemi used or the sxt new. I like new things, the shmell of them, da taste of dem. So I went with the sxt. There are times when i wished i had a hemi. But then I realize my dad and bro have them. So I know glory is just a key steal away. But mark my words, after I pay this bitch off I'm getting a challanger srt, no doubt. Do they come with depends?

I don't see where you get the data to support that your top speed is higher than mine. I never mentioned what mine was because I don't know, but if you did 141 mph, then mine is higher than that. HEMI owners that have done it report near 160mph.:not_worth

Anyway none of this matters because HEMI's suck!:bahdumcha:
