The bolts come loose, and I mean completely loose from the Block, but I can't remove the bolt from the Intake Manifold.
It's as if there is some sort of "retainer" on the underside of the Intake Manifold keeping it attached so I can't lift them out.
What gives???

They are held in with a slight press, whether a small rubber type grommet or not, but they will come out. Just pry up on them gently under the flange.

Better yet, turn them out (as if unscrewing) while pulling up. They will come out pretty easy and let you put them back just as easy.

I couldn't wait for the weekend. I was able to "pry" them out fairly easily.
I did the easy ones last night. (Driver's: 1, 3, 4, 5, and Passenger's: 1, 2, 3)
The two in the "wells", and the Passenger's #5 will have to wait until later.
