  1. The SRT-8 (6.1L and 6.4L V8)
Just trying to gauge some interest in a possible class action law suit against Chrysler/Dodge/JEEP for premature lifter failure. This is my 4th set going into this engine and the lifter that fails is ALWAYS the same one. The funny thing is that almost everyone of my customers who have had the...
  2. General LX Discussion (1st Gen - 2005 to 2010)
Hi all CORRECTION - need Front Control Module, NOT PDC (or need both maybe) Mostly lurker here who really appreciates all the tech tips and enthusiasm. My issues started with the classic rear park lights fuse #8 blowing on occasion. I didn't have time to deal* so I just kept replacing the...
  3. The Gas Tank (93 Octane)
...and no redundant / destructive measures were installed. This could have been a whole lot worse for ground observers... Proton-M Failure
  4. Tuning and Performance Programming
I've got a couple of codes that are a problem and both are related to module A, which before now I have never heard of. Does anyone know where module A is or what it does? Codes are UO 100 & UO 103 both are failure to communicate w/ module A which triggers limp mode.
  5. The Detroit Report (ok...Asia and Europe too)
GM is recalling the 2019 #Chevrolet #Corvette #ZR1 over a concern that hard braking or hard acceleration will cause the airbag system to not function in the event of a crash. Reference from Torque News at 2019 Corvette ZR1 Recalled Over Airbag Failure Risks.
  6. General LX Discussion (1st Gen - 2005 to 2010)
Has anyone had a timing chain failure outside of the factory powertrain warranty, and had the engine repairs covered by Chrysler? I'm at 174,000 miles.
  7. 300C, Magnum RT & Charger RT (5.7L V8)
Has anyone seen a timing chain failure after having the timing chain recall done? My mom has a 2010 Challenger with the 5.7 she had the recall done and just yesterday had the car lose all power and shut down. They think that the timing chain may be the culprit.
  8. 300C, Magnum RT & Charger RT (5.7L V8)
Think a lot of people are familiar with the numerous timing chain tensioner failures on the 5.7 VVT MDS Hemis and the TSB for the 09-12s. If you're like me and have a 2013+ LX, you probably thought "I don't need to worry".... well, that may not necessarily be the case. About a week ago the...
  9. Transmissions Gears & Diffs
Hi all, Sorry in advance for the length, I'm trying to make sure I include all the details, and so that hopefully anyone with a similar situation can find this post in the future, assuming there's a solution. Long Version: I have a 2008 Dodge Charger R/T, 70K Miles, don't know when last...
  10. General LX Discussion (1st Gen - 2005 to 2010)
My 2005 Magnum R/T started throwing codes and intermittently stalling as well as accelerating on it's own last weekend. The shop gave the diagnosis of a bad throttle body. After replacing the throttle body the car still was having the same issue. It was taken to the dealership and I was told the...
