It's been a while since I did this with the Charger we had. I now have a 2011 Challenger and was wondering if there were any DIY posts with pics on how others have done it.
Maybe where they got power from ... where they routed it from that source - etc
I wanted to put LEDs strings under the seats and dash. I have already replaced the OEM dome lights with LEDs.
I was just looking for a thread with pics on how some got power to the LEDs
Depends on how you want to wire them up.
if you want to run it off the ignition then use the ignition wire off the aux plug in the dash and if you want it on a switch then use the same wire and wire it to a switch it will be quite easy
You can also set one of the 12V outlets in the center console to "always on" by switching the position of the fuse in the trunk. That would allow for a power source either with or without a key in the ignition.
Those outlets are also very easy to access by either removing the whole console or just removing the ash tray section and fiddling around there.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
