got my car back a few weeks ago from cam/head port, valves and switch to HP tuners. Asked the tuner if he was going to disable the rear 02s and he stated he doesn't need to. He can have the range I guess so close that it will semi read and not throw a code. Well next morning after pick up light comes on for P1128 closed fuel loop or something like if memory serves me correct. Send code to tuner and he's never seen nor have I. Go back to shop, seems he's unable to get it to do "what he wants" so he diables the rear 02s and now my car just sits with 2 not readys. Im talking 3 tanks of gas, 400+ miles and nothing.

Any ideas fellas?

Thank you,
Jay Z

He said he's working on a fix and testing since im 2hrs away.... Sooo i'll wait. Cars already 8 months out, what;s another month lol

Side note... If I purchase my own HP tuner mcjigger, would I be able to retain his tune and modify what I wanted IF i wanted?

Awesome! Now let me find the best deal on one....

Great. Almost stock besides the occasional stall in reverse when i'm fully locked. But honestly.... not what i was expecting for a Cam/ported heads/oversized valves

Put it to you this way, I've already called Geico about a 2012 CTSV quote, Looking into used G35 Sedans for a 5.3 swap with a turbski maybe so yea didn't cure my speed/power addiction

I loved me some Gen 2 CTSVs until I got my 13 ATS then sat in a buddys 13 V Wagon. It was like the interiors did not come from the same company. The V2 was squeaking and rattling like my 99 Camaro interior, and materials felt the same. Drove me nuts...and I'm not a big interior guy. That said, the LSA does indeed satisfy certain addictions :)
My old Boss had a 13 CTSV...that diff made noises I never heard come from the back of a car before. They replaced it under warranty, but it only took like 30K miles to get to that point. Then there are the blowers that often need to be replaced. Do your homework :)

50hp....But as much as I hate to admit it, night by night i'm really feeling a 6speed G35 Sedan with a 4.8 swap, turbo. Sell my SRT to fund the build. Have something unique, reliable with ability to turn up, 550-700hp 15k build. I miss having a car to work on and not worry if a bird takes a **** on it, or if i'm in walmart is someone going to ding me again, if i hear a new noise I dont pull out my doctor kit go insane trying to find it then over spend fixing it etc etc

Must be 15 years ago I installed a supercharger on my Team Lead's G-35. It was a sweet / refined ride and has remained stuck in my mind...

No offense Mike I dont wan't to start a HP vs DS thread. I do appreciate you posting but not for a sale.

Just called back Pettys to schedule and their informing me what I want which is turn on rear 02s and put in range as you do other hemis to be informed this is $650...

No problem, i'll buy a VICM and take the help of others here. Next question is any better place then another to purchase? And if all i need is to change that setting I wonder how many credits I need?

I'm not trying to sell you anything. Just hoping to understand why you are going through all this to find an emall tune when there are highly skilled CMR guys who offer email tuning that could accomplish what you are after without all the hassle. Buy a used i2 for all I care, I just think it would serve you better than the mission you are on, but sometimes the mission is part of the fun ;)

Wish I could answer that. Just seems I'm getting retuned though I didn't feel as if I needed to but I guess in the current situation, if the guy can't tune a downstream oxygen sensor.... How much tuning did he actually do? I know for a fact my car wasn't driven. Was told weather was reason though it didn't rain the day I picked it up..... At 4pm.

It's weird. I know I have a completely different monster than I had before the build, but I wasn't stock either. Passed emissions 2 times with the other set up and now, they just won't ready up. Idk what's different, and I'm certain it's something stupid.

Honestly, if the min ect is not at stock value, they may not set at all. On my 17 SP the stock value is 10* C.

What does it show you for the MIL settings?
This is how they are laid out in CMR:

I wish I HAD the CMR instead of learning HP lol

On HP you have 2 boxes for each code...SES Enable, and MIL. You can either check or uncheck each.

SES enable allows it to run the "test" if checked, if unchecked the test won't even run.

If SES is enabled, and the MIL box is checked it allows the CEL to come on if a code is thrown. If it's unchecked, the test will run but the CEL won't illuminate. You can still see the code with a scanner though.

By (Emissions) law, HP may not be able to allow end-user access to all parameters...
