Nice find! Looks like it handles just about everything a StarScan can do (without the CDA). Probably runs a bit quicker to boot.
So I started using this software from this company, and it’s pretty good.
appcar-diagfca.com/en
It’s not a tuning/performance app, but it is more of a car options app. It’s really handy, I had stored codes no other program or tuner was able to pull, and I was able to clear them all.
Small things like turning on or off DRLs, controlling modules by computer, and making small tweaks is really handy.
I saw I have two codes related to my factory airbag recall. I’ve never touched my passenger side airbag. So now I can go speak to my local dealer about the codes.
The one thing it needs is the option to enable and configure the sales code to turn on the steering wheel controls and all the EVIC features like compass, digital displays and radio control. Put that in here and this software will be perfect.
I bought this adapter to connect-
Amazon.com: ScanTool 425801 OBDLink SX USB: Professional OBD-II Scan Tool for Windows: Automotive
And once I configured it it connected.
Here's what it does for my Magnum.

Update- check my other thread. EVIC is now an option!!!

Is this compatible with the ELM327 BT OBD module, or is the OBDLink SX the only connection available?
I noticed that 11-17 Charger has been added.
I'd like to keep the DRL's on with blinker, without being tied to a Tazer, since my HC has most of the features the Tazer enables on lower trim vehicles.
Thanks,
Bob

Does this co-exist with the Tazer?
Can this thing prime the abs module for break bleeding?

This looks like a worthwhile tool to complement tuning software. Is there someone out there with an EVIC equipped car (SRT) who can tell us if there are actually any user definable options in AppCar that are not already available via EVIC? Also, has anyone actually tried resetting any of the modules with this. I recently went through this with my wife's Toyota Avalon. I have a 'third party" version of the Toyota diagnostics software which has access to all of the vehicle's modules. This would have been very useful when I just swapped out her battery since it threw airbag and VSC codes. Trouble was that the software could not actually reset the codes, only the dealer could. These often involve recalibration routines like steering angle sensor and occupant sensor. I am not saying that this software is worthless, I just would like to know what it can actually do.

A quick visit to their site will answer most of your questions. I can not only clear ALL codes but I can reset and initialize modules. It’s just been super handy. It’s not tuning like Diablosport but an awesome add on. Like me- for my whole EVIC to be working for almost nothing is pretty good.

Missed that part. Anyways while you will need to recalibrate those sensors the software will drill down to that module and you can find out for sure if it’s initialized.
Saves me a ton of time- I had some resistance in an airbag squib. I viewed live data and saw which one had the resistance and what the voltage was. Fixed it.

The app won’t make any changes you don’t ask it to.

Can you adjust mileage on the gauge cluster? My cluster took a crap and I bought a used one with way more mileage than my current one.

Gauge cluster needs to be programmed by dealer with your ownership in hand.
